Aww! I was looking forward to your newsletter this week to read about your take on Katespiracy, especially on privacy vs transparency for public figures. It still boggles me how the doctored photo "shook the nation".
Re: Katespiracy, while it enticing to examine the phenomenon, I will hold off until after Easter, as the official word from the palace said she would be out of the public eye until then. Besides what you've pointed out, the way things are playing out right now, I fear in years to come, we could be looking back at this event and realise that we (the people and the media) have wronged Kate Middleton the way we did Monica Lewinsky after the Clinton scandal. This would be the angle I would take when I write on this (after Easter, of course).
