I love this idea. I read more about salon gatherings, and I'm surprised to find out that there are some efforts to revive it especially in the past few years like by the hostess called Susan MacTavish Best. I guess the pandemic made us wanna recoonect with one another in a physical space, and that makes sense. One problem about socializing is that there are alot of no-kid spaces. Another problem is that it is misconstrued as a party planner, which is not quite the intellectual persuit of a salon and more of just having fun, or worse, it is an activity reserved for socialites. I understand the reservation for starting or engaging in one for these reasons, but the idea itself is an intersting one for sure.
